Tulip Black Jack flowers are stunning and unique. They have a classic tulip shape with a single, elegant cup-shaped bloom. The petals are deep, velvety purple, almost black, which is what gives them their intriguing name, "Black Jack." These tulips are quite large, measuring about 4 to 6 inches (10 to 15 cm) in diameter when fully open. Planting instructions
If you’re planting tulip bulbs directly in the ground in the fall, dig a hole that's about 3 times the height of the bulb. Place the bulb with the pointy end up, about 6 inches (15 cm) deep. Space bulbs about 4-6 inches (10-15 cm) apart. When planting in containers, use a container at least 6-8 inches (15-20 cm) deep. Plant bulbs at the same depth as in the ground, about 6 inches (15 cm) deep. Choose a container with good drainage.
