Kochia Trichophylla Burning Bush is symmetrical and oval in form and makes an outstanding foliage plant.Highly drought tolerant, it will usually grow well where nothing else thrives. It grows with very little care, expense or maintenance and is highly resistant to most diseases and insect pests.
Planting instructions
The soil needs to be prepared well around springtime. By ploughing the soil, you need to ensure that there are no weeds left when the bush is planted.
An application of nitrogen should be applied for better growth and health of the soil.
Plant 1 pound of seeds in a row at a depth of 1/4 of an inch below the soil's surface.
Avoid planting the seeds too deep. When planted below 3/4 of an inch of soil, the seeds will often not germinate at all or the growth rate will be poor.
Once the seeds have sprouted from the soil, it's recommended that the plants should be thinned to encourage growth.
