The round fruit of watermelon crimson sweet has beautiful dark green coloured stripes on the rind with dark red fruit colour. Crimson sweet is a tender annual that grows on vines that perform best in the summer heat. Watermelon crimson sweet will require plenty of sun and space to grow. On maturity, watermelon crimson sweet will produce fruits weighing 8 to 10 KGs.
Planting instructions
Sow watermelon crimson sweet seeds at a depth of ¼ inches in fertile loamy soil once the soil temperature is above 20℃. It’s best to grow watermelon vines on raised beds with 2-3 vines and at least 6 to 8 feet of space between two plots. In case you are starting your seeds indoors, you can sow them in late March as well. Seeds will start germinating in 8 to 10 days in ideal conditions.
