Planting instructions
Tongues of fire beans prefer full sun for a minimum of 5 to 6 hours a day and do well in soil temperature of 27 to 35°C.
In order to germinate the beans successfully, plant the seeds in warm soil at a depth of 1 to 2 inch leaving a distance of at least 12 inches between each row and 4 to 6 inches distance between each bush.
If you want a continuous yield throughout the season, you can have a succession of plantings with increments of 8 to 10 days.

temperature
Tongues of fire beans grow well in warm temperature in the range of 27 to 35°C in full sun.
watering
While watering the plants, try not to wet the leaves which will minimise the chances of plant diseases. Water every alternate day to keep the soil fairly moist because dry soil will result in reduced yield.
how to harvest
Bean pods should be picked while they are still firm and crisp.
Try picking up the pods from the stem frequently so that the crop keeps producing and if the pods are allowed to grow too big, they will become lanky and thin and would not taste as good.
These beans can be stored in the refrigerator for a week.
